If you all are watching the Olympics you probably have been noticing some of the issues that have been coming up around gender. This has a lot to do with the Venus Uranus square AND the Venus trine Chiron that we had last week…

From Friday on, the week gets tricky and that is because Venus squares Uranus on that day and on Sunday we have a New Moon in Leo and Mercury stations retrograde on that same day.

Also a reminder that we are coming off of a full Moon and that Moon transits can mess with our systems a bit. With a full Moon that can be more so the case if we weren’t able to release something that we needed to let go of; and for new Moon’s it can happen if we failed to plant seeds of intention in a healthy part of our lives.

The astrology of the day was notable in a way that we do not like to see. We were in the midst of a Sun in Cancer square to Chiron that we had been feeling leading up to this point and is actually exact today 7/15. This week’s got some really good stuff in it! Friday is really the only day to watch out for. On Friday, just after Venus moves into Shiny Leo on Thursday, it opposes Pluto in Aquarius. So I hope you have some fun on Thursday.

We start out on Monday with Mercury in Cancer trining Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Cancer trining Saturn in Pisces. Mercury will be at the last stages of Cancer right before ingressing into Leo, which means it is trying to dispel the energies of this sign. In plain English this means that the communication you have this day and the way you think about things could take on a nurturing and caring quality that feels like a relief.

The headliners this week are Mercury and Venus! Also we get a break from heavy astrology again as we integrate the lessons of the Capricorn full Moon we just had on the 21st.

This week Mercury and Venus come together to square Neptune today (Monday) and then the Sun ALSO squares Neptune later in the week. We also have a Capricorn full Moon on the same day that Mercury sextiles Mars and of course we have the Summer Solstice and Cancer season starting!

This week heavily features Pluto and Neptune which means it is going to be intense and confusing. Luckily we have a bunch of supportive transits at the same time. The days to watch out for will be Tuesday (today) because I’m writing this a day late) and Sunday.

Venus in Gemini is flirty! Don’t delete that dating ap quite yet! Or maybe do and just plan to say yes to the requests to socialize that come your way this week. Go get your flirt on! If you’re partnered put that spice back in there! Also flirting doesn’t have to be romantic. We all know people who flirt with everyone just because it makes them and others feel special. Go make someone feel special on Tuesday! Since Jupiter is in the mix too, that flirty energy is going to spread!

This week is going to be a bit spicy and electric, but we start off with a lot of fortifying as well on Monday as Mercury in Taurus sextiles Saturn in Pisces.

Venus is do’in her thing in a deep and meaningful way with the help of Pluto this week. There are also a lot of supportive transits for the full Moon which can often be a challenging time when we are encouraged or forced to release something. Since the full Moon is in Sagittarius which is a mutable sign, we might have a bit of an easier time letting go.

Lighting is going to stir those New Moon seeds this week…

Communications may become deep quickly with the Mercury Chiron conjunction before the New Moon in Taurus brings us to consider revolutionary change.

…However, don’t fret dear star kin because on Friday Mars will sextile Pluto! So whatever came up for you during the Venus square Pluto on Tuesday around your values etc. will get an extra boost to be composted into something actionable by Friday.

So I decided to have this horoscope come out today 4/15 for some extra support around the Mercury conjunct Chiron happening today.
