We start out on Monday with Mercury in Cancer trining Saturn in Pisces and Venus in Cancer trining Saturn in Pisces. Mercury will be at the last stages of Cancer right before ingressing into Leo, which means it is trying to dispel the energies of this sign. In plain English this means that the communication you have this day and the way you think about things could take on a nurturing and caring quality that feels like a relief. Maybe something you have been wanting to say for awhile just flows easily and leads to a shared sense of being held. This is supported but the Venus Saturn trine which wants us to do the hard work emotionally so that we can reap the rewards in the boundaries we set with ourselves and others. Neptune will also be stationing retrograde which means there is a quality of review with whatever comes up.
All this work around loving communication that we do on Monday will serve us well on Tuesday as Mercury moves into Leo and opposes Pluto in Aquarius on this day. These are both fixed signs and oppositions often have us experiencing the transit relationally or in some form of projection. You might find yourself at odds with someone or something that kicks up your fight or flight mechanisms. Particularly when it comes to your sense of how you shine in the world or how you intellectualize world events that affect communities currently at war. Don’t take the bait, sit with the emotions that come up and work with them within yourself. Pluto wants us to work with those obsessive, defensive, panicky thought patterns as they come up for us inside
Then on Friday at 3:57pm Pacific time we have a new Moon in Cancer! The Moon loves being in Cancer. It is a time where emotions flow freely but are supported to shine. Those of you who are Cancer Sun or rising signs, or have a lot of Cancer placements, know that in the healthiest expression of self, you have a unique ability to help people tap into their own emotional core and support them in doing so. So basque in this energy for the day. Nurture one another! Do something special for a loved one that is unique. An astrologer I follow says that Cancers are the “Emotional Memory Keepers”. What a beautiful, underrated, and absolutely necessary role in society! The only thing to watch out for is that at 11:33pm PST Venus will square Chiron, the wounded healer. So as you are diving deep emotionally, check in along the way to make sure you are not pushing on any extra sensitive areas for you or those you care fore.
Take the time you can to fortify your spirit and the spirit of those around you this week because next week we have one of the more explosive transits of the year. In general, this month has a lot of good growth and learning potential as well as some transits that may “hand us our own asses” so to speak, but at least it’s balanced.
