We have been in Eclipse season since 9/17 and will be there until the beginning of October, which means some things will be obscured and others will be revealed all in the setting of high emotions that are often expressed physically because of the Moon. INTEGRATION
I like these days where we don’t have any mundane transits because it gives our system a chance to catch up a little. Sometimes however, we feel the transit more when there is not the energetic competition of anything happening in the sky, Also, we still usually have some kinds of personal or Moon transits to contend with regardless. If anyone wants me to go into this more comment on the blog
You may notice some overlap with the days. This is because there are some days that have beneficial transits as well as more challenging ones.

Some folks really want me to do these horoscopes in audio format because…I mean who reads anymore right? The eventual plan is to do so. However, it is all labor. I take anywhere from 1-4 hours doing these every week, which is an offering I truly enjoy but it is an uncompensated labor of love so be patient my darlings t’will happen eventually :)
EQUINOX
People forget that Astrology is not only a way for us to understand the way that the energy of celestial bodies affects us here on earth, but a way for us to ground into the particular energies of OUR celestial body, Earth. This means a way for us to ground into the seasons. There are specific planetary shifts that happen this time of year that affect the quality of light we receive and thusly, affect our physiologic and homornal processes and therefore, our behaviors. One thing that happens is the equinox which is a time of year when the days and nights are equal in length. This winter equinox happens today (9/22). After this, the days become shorter and the nights will become longer.
There is also inherently a busy nature to this time as we prepare for the Winter and actually going inward.
What nuts are you squirreling away for the Long Dark?
How can you honor this shift?
Do you need to take things down a notch to leave space for internal reflection? Rest?
This can be hard in Capitalism but I believe it is something worth striving for. You can even look at it as a way lighten the load by being more collective and community focused in supporting deep rest.

How can we shift from a high production society to a slow growth more sustainable one?

THE HERMIT: Appropriately I pulled the Hermit card from my Santa Muerte Tarot deck on the day of the equinox. This deck is internal, reflective, and centers grief, and loss. The equinox moves us to slow down and spend more internal time, but this week’s horoscope has some opportunities for communication as well.

HOROSCOPE
This week is ripe for misunderstandings, communication snafus, quick information, and deep diving into our thoughts; along with some possible unearthing of heavy information. The news might give us even more salacious information but at this point what’s new along those lines!? So I’m going to focus more on how the energies may affect us personally this week.
Tuesday Mercury trines Uranus so we might get some unexpected information that helps us organize our thoughts better or feel more comfortable in general.
Wednesday the details of communication or our thought processes may get a bit obscured as Mercury opposes Neptune.
How can you prepare on Tuesday for confusion that may arise on Wednesday?
Later that day Mercury trines Pluto. So if communication or your thoughts became a little muddied earlier in the day, you might be able to harness whatever came up to make real transformative change in your life later on. That might be around your boundaries and the details of how to hold up these boundaries for yourself and others.
Thursday Mercury moves into the diplomatic and people pleasing sign of Libra. Communications and thoughts could be ironed out and consensus achieved, but the shadow side is that while Mercury is in Libra and makes more challenging aspects to other planets during it’s time in this sign, you might find yourself trying to people please at the expense of your own needs. The other side of the Libra scale will then try to balance itself by over compensating and becoming stern and rigid or punishing. So look out for this as Mercury moves through the sign of Libra until the 13th of next month.

Sunday we have a loaded day with a couple more challenging oppositions between the Sun and the North Node (NN) and Mercury and the NN. You might feel an increased need to explain a contrarian point of view on this day. You might also find a cause worth fighting more aggressively for in general.
