Full Moon in Libra - Venus on Full Display
Horoscope for week of 4/7-13 2025
On Saturday the 12th we have our Libra full Moon which will be opposing the Sun and Chiron which are both in the sign of Aries. Not gunna lie, I’m not super excited about this. Venus in Pisces is a beautiful thing, but the other transits may equate to some bruised egos and lashing out if our core wounds are triggered.
Lay low
However, Venus is well positioned in Pisces so it might be a good day for imagination and creativity on a solo tip.
Remember most of the time it has nothing to do with you.
Don’t get involved but also stand up for folks when you see an injustice just try to keep your ego and expectations out of it.
May be a difficult day for women and femmes/genders that are typically marginalized. However, these folks will also have some clarity of thought to do some righteous musings about a better and more inclusive world.
This week both Mercury and Venus will be stationing direct after long retrogrades and a full Moon in Venus’ sign! Remember that sometimes the most pivotal time for the energies of retrograde planets is the day they go retrograde and the day they station direct.
Monday Venus is conjunct Saturn which could have you either feeling left out, lonely, and without community or assessing your boundaries in relationship and restructuring accordingly.
Later in the day it sextiles Mercury which is also stationing direct in Pisces so your thinking and communication may have more clarity. This is even more likely as Mercury links with the North Node on Thursday the 10th
Who needs to be “blocked and blessed”? I’m not a huge proponent of blocking but if I was, today would be the day.
Use your words in written or verbal form.
Flowery speech may be well starred, but try not to use it to avoid the main issue at hand.
The day is also well starred for creative writing and imaginative thought.
On Friday Mars in Cancer trine’s the North Node in Pisces
This could kick up feelings of frustration
Look out for passive aggressiveness and erratic emotions
Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Lots of love to folks who protested last weekend in the “Hands Off” protests nationwide. In downtown Oakland alone there were over 3,000 participants and nationwide there were millions.
I think this is a good start, however, we also need to focus on the safety of black and brown folks as people are being rounded up off the streets. There needs to be protection for us. The Hands off Movement has a commitment to non-violence. I was happy to see a lot of older white Americans there who, at least for now, probably would not be overtly targeted violently; however, we know that is not the case for black and brown folks and particularly our young folks.
Hands off is a great way for older adults to stay engaged and at the same time, black and brown folks need to have options as our liberties are the first to go. Demonstrating the ability to escalate if needed while remaining calm and largely non-violent is a strategy that proves more successful for our people in the world we live in. Think of the Panthers arming themselves, following police vehicles in the hood that were targeting their people and yelling them their rights. A modern day version of this is people alerting their neighbors to ICE and yelling to them their rights.
Speaking of practical community actions, I am also looking for donations of: size 10 mens shoes as well as hygiene supplies like toothbrushes and toothpaste, sanitary napkins, toiletries etc. for an organization called CURYJ that I volunteered with over the weekend helping to cleanup Cesar Chavez Park in East Oakland. The picture below describes the day. The organization is an abolitionist organization working to disrupt systems of violence and provide opportunities for current and formerly incarcerated youth and adults.
Their community building activities involve the whole community including our unhoused folks who play an integral role in street safety and beautification.
